Join Mike Waters, Cathie Murray, and fellow birders for a spring hike at KLT’s 330-acre Vassalboro Wildlife Habitat. VWH has two trails, the one-mile Loop Trail, which travels to the shoreline of Webber Pond, and the Wood Duck Box Trail, which leads to a cattail marsh where wood ducks and other birds are frequently seen. This hike will take place at the beginning of migration, but we can expect to see palm warblers, black and white warblers, and many other early migrants. Wear your mud boots and bring binoculars and tick repellent. All ages are welcome.
