Torsey Pond Nature Preserve Bird Walk

Bird Walk for the 2017 Lyceum Series

We will look for breeding birds in the Preserve woods and for wetland birds at the Preserve’s duck blind. Ninety-nine species of birds have been documented at this preserve. Will we find the hundredth species? Potential birds include various warblers, Virginia rail, swamp sparrow, sandhill crane, hermit thrush, and scarlet tanager.
