The Rosmarin family donated 342 acres in Readfield to KLT in 2016. Join KLT, the Rosmarin family, and friends to celebrate this newly property and our newly constructed trails.

The Rosmarin and Saunders Family Forest was formerly owned by Saunders Manufacturing Company Inc., a manufacturer of aluminum clipboards. The hilly, wooded property has been used year-round for hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and hiking. After the company was sold in 2016, John and Lisa Rosmarin donated 342 acres to KLT so people can continue to enjoy the land.
KLT’s Directors and staff will lead hikes on the new trail after a short dedication ceremony. Please stay for cider, cookies, and apples after the hike!
Open to the public, no registration required. 

Directions: From Route 41/17 in Readfield turn onto Nickerson Hill Rd. Travel for about 0.6 mile then turn left into a small parking area.
