Join land owners for a guided walk at the Small-Burnham Conservation Area. The Smalls and the Burnhams have lived and worked on this land since the 1840s. There are many interesting natural and historical features on the property.
This event is part of the Great Maine Outdoors Weekend.
Free and open to the public, no registration necessary.
The Kennebec Land Trust (KLT) works cooperatively with landowners and communities to conserve the forests, shorelands, fields, and wildlife that define central Maine. KLT protects land permanently, offers opportunities for people to learn about and enjoy the natural world, and works with partners to support sustainable forestry and farming.
