Tenth Annual Curtis Winter Fun Day

Join the Kennebec Land Trust for a morning of winter fun at the Curtis Homestead Conservation Area in Leeds, the childhood home of former Maine Governor Kenneth M. Curtis, Rebecca Curtis Meredith, and Joyce Curtis.

Bring your cross-country skis or snowshoes and spend the afternoon exploring this wonderful 360-acre conservation property!

If the snow is right, we’d love to build a community of snowmen! Bring whatever biodegradable accessories you’d like to use.

Hot chocolate, hot dogs, and s’mores will be served around a bonfire in the field. We’ll have a few pairs of children and adult Winthrop Plays Outside snowshoes from the Bailey Public Library in Winthrop for use. First come, first served.
