Theresa Kerchner, Executive Director, will present an Introduction to Conservation Burial. The Land Trust will soon be opening our region's first conservation burial ground on Baldwin Hill in Fayette. Conservation burial grounds offer ecologically sound burial practices that protect the environment and human health. This model also goes beyond "green cemeteries", or similar designations, by permanently protecting a larger tract of open space.
