Vassalboro Wildlife Habitat

Join MES and KLT to explore the world of insects. Newcomers and more experienced entomologists alike are invited to come and learn about insect identification at this ecologically diverse and recently expanded conservation area.

This property includes a shoreline along Webber Pond, wetland, mature mixed hardwood-conifer stands and more. In 2022 an additional 33 acres were added to the Vassalboro Wildlife Habitat.

Directions: From Route 201 in Vassalboro, approximately two miles north of the Augusta-Vassalboro line, turn east on Webber Pond Road and go half a mile past the Webber Pond public boat landing to the KLT sign and parking lot.
