Do you have plans to build a trail, help others maintain theirs, or just have an interest in trail design and maintenance? Join KLT Stewardship Staff and District Forester Julie Davenport for an interactive workshop exploring the essential concepts behind trail design and maintenance.

The day will begin with an indoor discussion at the Hallowell Fire Station, introducing key concepts and then move outdoors to the Howard Hill Conservation Area in Augusta to bring these concepts to life on the ground. The emphasis will be on non-motorized, pedestrian and multi-use trails, but most concepts apply to motorized and specialized-use trails as well.

Lunch will be provided. Please come prepared to be outdoors. All experience levels welcome.
