• conservation of both working woodlands and ecological reserves
• reduced energy consumption and transportation costs based on local products
• providing support to landowners, loggers, processors, manufacturers, and consumers
We recognize that our local economy, wood products markets, recreational opportunities, wildlife habitat, water quality, and quality of life are directly connected to the long-term stewardship of Maine’s natural resources.
