Information about the Local Wood WORKS Conference 2014 State-wide Saturday Open Houses

Have you wondered what happens inside of a lumber mill? How about a harvest site?

The following businesses, mills and harvest sites will be opening their doors to the public on November 15th From 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Kennebec Land Trust, Curtis Homestead Conservation Area, from Route 202 in Monmouth, go west on the Bog Rd. for about 1.5 mi., Leeds

Greater Augusta Utility District Woodlands at Carleton Pond, Rt. 135 in Readfield, 1/4 Mile after junction of 117 and 135 (first junction closer to Manchester)

Northern Lights Stove Shop, 639 Wilton Road, Farmington

Readmont Lumber,114 Wings Mills Road, Readfield Directly across from Whitcomb Drive

Dimensional Lumber, 85 Jug Hill Road, Livermore Falls

Hidden Valley Nature Center, 131 Egypt Road, Jefferson- 12:30-2:30PM
