The Portland Press Herald 2018 Source Award highlighted our Local Wood WORKS partnership and our collective commitment to the long term well-being of Maine’s forests and waters, wildlife, and communities. Many thanks to the Press Herald staff and the Source Award sponsors!
Community Service Award from the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce
KLT received the Community Service Award for our dedication to preserve land for public use and recreation in Central Maine.
Mayor’s Recognition of Excellence Award City of Augusta
On Thursday, October 4, 2018 KLT was recognized at the Augusta City Council meeting for our work to conserve the 164-acre Howard Hill Historical Park. This award was created to recognize and honor organizations whose efforts have showcased the City of Augusta as a special place to live, work or recreate.
